YEAR

2023

I worked as a Graphic Designer on Netflix’s The Archies, a vibrant reimagining of the beloved comics set in 1970s Riverdale, India. My role focused on designing special graphic props and crafting the visual identity of the spaces, from gilded salons to ice cream parlours. I explored vintage typefaces, hand-drawn lettering, nostalgic packaging, and era-specific materials to create a world that felt authentic to the time but still whimsical and cinematic. Every piece — from a magazine cover to a record label — was a small love letter to the design sensibilities of the ‘70s.

For Cuts and Curls, we designed and styled all the graphic elements — from product packaging to salon signage — to build an authentic 1970s-inspired beauty world. Every detail, from custom product labels to illustrated service menus, was created to enhance the set's vintage pastel aesthetic.

For Hal’s Book Store, we designed vintage-inspired stationery, receipts, and postcards to bring the charm of a cozy mid-century bookstore to life.

For the Ice Cream Parlour, we created playful, retro signage and custom packaging to capture the cheerful spirit of an old-school sundae shop.
Right from designing the Founder's Ball tickets to ice cream trucks and every detail in between, the graphics gave a sense of time, colour and aesthetic to the production design.
